Trans women who are attracted to women call themselves as lesbians (or lesbian trans woman). Some lesbians would date with trans women who have not received SRS. Some would not do so because they are only attracted to biological women. However, in some nations, the trans women who were rejected by lesbians would accuse them of TERFs or transphobes in order to have sex with even if rape them. Some trans rights activists (TRA) even attacked the lesbians who held a banner of “We are only attracted to biological women” in LGBT Pride Parades. As a result, the lesbians in these nations hardly can have a female-only lesbian meetings, lesbian bars, and lesbian dating apps.
In Taiwan, we also see trans lobbies have made similar comments such as “refusing to date with trans people could be discriminatory” or “broaden lesbian women’s vision”.
